About Crystal Johnson

I am a professional photographer based in the Wilmington,NC area.

I started having a real fondness for photography in my teens. I received my first film camera then, and progressed from there. My love for visual artistry started shortly after that as I made my way into the digital realm.

Music has been a huge inspiration to my work. I pull from many artists that share a more darker sense of reality like myself. I am also a huge fan of horror, and ‘weird’ movies that are not the norm. A movie by the name of ‘Begotten’ has inspired me tremendously, not only for it’s amazing beauty, but for the philosophical meaning. I’m also a huge nerd when it comes to Astronomy. There’s just something about the unknown, and the beauty of the chaos of our universe that simply amazes me.
